Sail Mallorca aboard Dragonfly
2013 Jeanneau SO439
Experience The Mediterranean –
Mallorca, the ideal yacht charter destination
The Mediterranean is one of the best destinations for sailing charters. Though just a few hours flight from most major European Cities, the beautiful island of Mallorca is truly a world apart with long sandy beaches, turquoise waters, amazing mountains and beautiful sunsets.
The water is perfect for yacht charters - with an amazing underwater world just waiting to be explored! Anchor up in the crystal clear waters to see an enthralling encounter of the aquatic life, whether you snorkel or dive.
The best time for a yacht charter in the Med is from Mid June to Mid September, however, mild temperatures, warm water and pleasant breezes make the Med a great destination for yacht charters from April through to November. No wonder the Balearic Islands are considered one of the world's best sailing and motor yacht charter destinations !

Make yourself at home on Dragonfly, a 44 foot Sun Odysey 439.

Strategically-placed hatches and windows are complemented by the main window which runs almost the full length of the cabin. Whether standing or sitting you can see out of the boat. The fully Air Conditioned interior is finished in a traditional style featuring rich woods, clean styling and sumptuous comfortable seating and beds.

Dragonfly’s folding transom creates an enclosed cockpit to lessen the chance of taking a wave over the stern, but you will love the ease of access that the folding platform provides. The telescoping ladder means climbing aboard after a swim or a dive is simple, and boarding from a marina or a dinghy is a breeze.

The huge cockpit is more than adequate for six or eight people to sit around the folding cockpit table with a few nibbles and a cold drink. Underway, the high cockpit sides and canvas dodgers give a feeling of “safety” from rogue waves and privacy when sun bathing.

Although Dragonfly is not a racer, she should appeal to both the family cruiser and the performance-oriented sailor alike, she has an 80% battened main sail for better sailing performance, but no need to bounce the halyard to hoist the main as the electric winch makes short work of that task. All sail controls are led aft within easy reach of the helm for short/single handed sailing.
The helmsman’s position at the twin wheels is very comfortable, either sitting or standing, the wind, log and other instrumentation are duplicated at each wheel and the centre-mounted touch screen chart plotter is readable from either position.

Dragonfly is brand new, MCA coded for charter and ready to Sail today.           Please contact us for further information or to reserve Dragonfly for your next charter.
